A name does not describe the entire delivery
A pressing edge is at the top of the blade. The socket is the connection for the handle. A version described as ‘with socket’ does not automatically include a separate handle.
Choose by item code and read the specifications for that code. Photographs help show the construction, but do not confirm the scope of delivery for every version on the same page.
Comparing A3, A4, A5 and A7
The catalogue specifies an EN AW-5083 aluminium blade measuring 240 × 160 × 12 mm for A3, A4, A5 and A7. A3 has a pressing edge and aluminium handle; the component drawing gives a handle length of 440 mm.
A4 has a socket; A5 has a socket and pressing edge. Whether a handle is included with either item still needs confirmation. A7 has a pressing edge, socket and wooden handle. The wood species and handle length of A7 have not yet been confirmed.
Other handles and ring blades
A6 is listed as a small blade with a pressing edge and plastic handle. The plastic type and handle length are not yet specified. For plastic blades with rings, compare A1 and A8 to A11.
Aluminium rings and brass rings have separate catalogue listings. These listings do not establish a difference in service life, weight or suitability for your working method. Ask Henri for the information relevant to your choice.
Identifying the A7 photograph
The isolated main photograph of the small legget shows the back of A7 with its pressing edge, socket and wooden handle. The matching photograph against the reed shows the A7 marking. Other versions on the page may differ.
If you are unsure, include the code of your current tool and the handle or connection you need. Discuss which additional photographs or measurements Henri needs to check the version.
Based on the supplied HADAK product list and available catalogue information and drawings. Product pages identify the specifications that still need confirmation for each version.
